This study focuses on the problem of Ukrainian experimental poetry of the late 20th – early 21st century. The author examines theoretical background of the term as well as the genealogic, historical and literary conditions of modern experiments emergence. The research clarifies the problems with the classification of experimental texts and analyses the methodology of these artistic constructs. It provides the details of the wide Ukrainian literary context of visual poetic practice, taking into consideration the complexity of Ukrainian poetry performance terms phenomenon.
