Essay

The research deals with theoretical, legal and praxeological foundations of criminal procedural guarantees of advocate secret in the pre-trial investigation. Based on comparative analysis of sources of law, in different historical periods and scientific literature installed beginning the appearance and features becoming of guarantees of advocate secret in criminal proceedings of western countries and in international law and defined the stages of their appearance and becoming. The classification of ECHR judgments for guarantees of advocate secret in criminal proceedings was carried out.
