Thesis is devoted to the problems of commercialization of technological innovations as a basic factor of economic transition of Ukraine to the innovative way of development. On the basis of generalization and systematization of different views on the methods of technology commercialization the author offers two basic methods of commercialization of technological innovation: the transfer of intellectual property and technology transfer. The advantages of such allotment in terms of practical application of innovation are substantiated.
