Essay

This dissertation is concerned with an extensive research into the issue of structural, semantic and functional features of English social and political terminology. The thesis is a comprehensive investigation of lexical, semantic, derivational, functional and pragmatic characteristics. The first chapter deals with theoretical aspects, on the basis of which an extended definition of the social and political terminology is suggested. Social and political term is defined as a word or word combination that expresses political notion and belongs to science and political terminology as informative, meaningful and mono semantic unit.
