In the present research the role and place of British multisemiotic fictional texts in the context of linguistic research have been discussed; the methodology as well as methods of studying British multisemiotic fictional texts has been worked out; typology and structure of British multisemiotic fictional texts have been outlined; the types of semantic relationships between the components of these types of texts have been identified; the means of implementing textual categories in British multisemiotic fictional texts have been highlighted; the peculiarities of functional characteristic of British multisemiotic fictional texts have been discovered; the ways and means of visual-graphic and narrative techniques of the book cover combinatorics have been outlined.
