In dissertation work a solution of scientific and practical problem of friction pair hydrodynamic unloading creation of face packing seals new designs which can be used for shafts sealing of centrifugal pumps of general industrial purpose is presented. The experimental results allow saying about effectiveness of face packing seals new designs with friction pair hydrodynamic unloading. The tribomechanical properties of packing were experimentally determined. The technique of numerical solution of elastohydrodynamic lubrication problem of face packing seal with friction pair hydrodynamic unloading was created. The calculation results have good agreement with experimental data.
