Essay

The object of study: the process of selection of sheep Crimean factory type Tsigal breed, aimed at improving the productive and breed characteristics. Objective: implementation of a comprehensive assessment of the current gene pool of sheep Crimean Tsigal breed type in the parameters of productive and reproductive qualities and characteristics of the establishment of the genetic structure of genofound populations of molecular genetic markers. Methods: livestock (definition of indicators of wool productivity and animal live weight); genetic (polymorphisms to determine the level of blood groups and blood proteins); laboratory (determination of physical and technical properties of wool, serology), statistics (biometric processing of research results). Theoretical and practical results: in theory - the results of research are the basis for the development of productive and reproductive qualities Tsigal breed. In this context, there is a possibility of semi sheep effective application of methods of selection and selection of animals to link the intensity of replacement chickens with their future productive qualities. In practical - economic efficiency of sheep breeding Crimean Tsigal breed type is 7.6%. The novelty: for the first time based on our system analysis the characteristic of the current state of the gene pool of sheep Crimean Tsigal breed type. The level of development of their productive and reproductive traits, and characteristics of the genetic structure of breeding herd of molecular genetic markers. New data about the level of variability in traits in breeding populations of Tsigal breed degree of polymorphism of blood group systems and locus of control with the function of proteins. It has been further developed to study the effect of inbreeding on productive qualities of animals, as well as the effectiveness of different methods of selection and recruitment forms. Degree of implementation: the results of studies implemented in breeding plant "Black" Crimea and farm "Niva" Odessa area and are used in educational process at the Odessa State Agrarian University. Scope of use - livestock, particularly sheep.
