Mahats M. Justification of energy saving options of milking machine.

The thesis is devoted to important scientific and technical problems - increas-ing the efficiency of machine milking, reducing its energy and material consumption. The thesis contains theoretical and experimental researches aiming to determine the relationship between structural parameters and energetic of milking machine. Theoretically identified the need of power for milk evacuation from the udder of an animal, which is U/t = N = 10 Wt (for existing serial milking machines). This made it possible to simplify the design of the milking machine (lack of vacuum pump, pulsator or pulsation chamber and vacuum metric pressure gauge). Experimental studies have shown that the application of the developed energy saving milking unit reduces the power consumption up to 6,5 times, e.g. the power range from 104 to 106 Wt, and the annual cost effectiveness - 532,5 UAH in 10 cows.
