Tochenyi V. Models and methods for wind farm technical-economical characteristics calculation

Object of research: wind farm technical-economical characteristics. Purpose of work: the creation of scientific and methodological basis of calculation of technical and economic characteristics of wind farm operation with the aim of pre-investment studies of their effectiveness. Methods of research: system analysis, theory of wind energy, technological forecasting, mathematical modeling, optimization, probability theory, mathematical statistics, approximation of functions. Theoretical and practical results. Innovations: developed more precisely existing mathematical models and methods of their computer realization to perform feasibility study for the performance of WPP at the stage of investment research. Subject and the degree of implementation: proposed models and methods of calculation of technical and economic parameters of the wind farm in State Energy Efficiency Agency of Ukraine, DneprVNIPIenergoprom, LLC "Tyligulska wind farm", NTUU "KPI". Implementation efficiency: investment - income-investor in the project, the state - improving the energy and environmental security of the country, the social - the creation of jobs. Utilization field: investors wind power projects in Ukraine, public authorities responsible for the development of the Ukrainian wind energy.
