Object of the study: Diabetes mellitus type 2 and its complications. The pathophysiological changes in patients with diabetes type 2 obesity and hypertension. Novelty: We first proved the feasibility of using dual enerdgy X-ray absorptiometry method in determining the distribution of adipose tissue in patients with diabetes, obesity and hypertension. Profound scientific knowledge concerning the relationship between different types of diurnal blood rhythm, adypokines and insulin levels in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 and obesity and hypertension. Proved that the changes of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism depend on the amount and distribution of adipose tissue. Further developed study of the characteristics of secretory activity of adipose tissue and its relationship with metabolic parameters in the body of patients with diabetes type 2 with obesity and hypertension. First discovered and studied the correlative relationship between the stiffness of large arteries and quantity of adipose tissue, parameters of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, level adypokines depending on the type of glucose lowering therapy. For the first time proven correlation between the number and distribution of adipose tissue adypokines levels, insulin resistance, diurnal blood pressure monitoring parameters and influence on measures aimed at reducing body weight in patients with diabetes type 2 obesity and hypertension.
