The object of the study is the formation of socio-economic development of urban electric transport enterprise. The main goal is the study and development of theoretical and methodological guidelines, methodological approaches and scientific recommendations on the formation of socio-economic development of urban electric transport enterprise. Methods presented a set within the system, structural-level approaches; methods of theoretical and applied scientific knowledge: abstract logic; methods of organizing, dynamic, statistical and comparative analysis; multidimensional classification, cluster analysis; system synthesis. The classification was improved of enterprise strategy according to he following ground; conceptual foundations of management of socio-economic development of urban electric transport enterprises; justifying of socioeconomic characteristics of urban electric transport programming undertakings. The following methods got further development: theoretical concept design of "enterprise development strategy"; components of a scientific approach to determine the impact of passenger municipal electric service for the implementation of socio-economic goals of the city.
