Shcherba V. Criminal procedure in the jury trial: comparative law research

This dissertation is concerned on research of a complex problem of criminal procedure in the jury trial. General characteristic of jury legal status as well as problem questions of rights and duties realization, respective guarantees of activity and responsibility in the criminal procedure have been provided. Jury call, selection and removal, debate and vote procedures according to the current CPC of Ukraine and other legal acts have been assessed. Based on comparative law analysis the peculiarities of the criminal procedure in the jury trial in Western Europe, USA and post-Soviet countries the prospective of implementation of the most modern institutes in the Ukrainian legislation has been defined.
