Essay

The dissertation presents a mathematical model and analytical procedure, based on the methods of complex variable functions and complex potentials, to solve the problems on the stressed state of piecewise-homogeneous plates with through and surface cracks on the linear interface of materials with regard for plastic zones of the crack prolongation. For one or two through cracks or one surface crack the singularities of distribution of the components of the stressed state of piecewise- homogeneous plate along the interface of materials are studied in detail. The influence of choice of plasticity conditions (Hubert-Mises, Tresca-Saint-Venant) on the stress in the plate, on the crack opening, on the sizes of plastic zones is studied for different loading and geometric parameters.
