Verovko M. Information technology of distance learning monitoring based on the network traffic data

The object of study is the process of online distance learning. The subjects of research are the methods and tools for distance learning monitoring based on network traffic data. The goal is the improvement of the quality of evaluation process of distance learning through the development of information technology for its monitoring based on network traffic. The system of criteria for assessing the quality of distance education was developed through the expansion of the set of indicators by the dynamic characteristics. The method for measuring the characteristics of distance learning according to network traffic was proposed. The method of network traffic monitoring was improved by using the technology of "active networks", which provides the processing of data directly in the network nodes. The seminatural simulation model of online distance learning was developed. The system of online distence learning monitoring based on the network traffic data was implemented.
