The thesis is devoted to the comparative study of reproductive, fattening and meat qualities of sows of large white breed and cross-breed WBхL to combined with boars of domestic and foreign selection. The data on the practicability of using pigs of large white breed as the parent forms when crossed with Terminal and Landras boars, cross-breed sows (WB х L) combine the best of terminal boars and Duroc boars.
