The paper is devoted to the research of problem activity of shipbuilding-shiprepair enterprises under the conditions of external environmental factors, to the formation of their business adaptation mechanism in order to set production and economic activity and overcome the crisis. Business adaptation mechanism of shipbuilding-shiprepair water transport enterprises is formed. It is realized on the basis of developed identification level algorithm of the enterprise adaptation and the definitive direction identification of adaptation process with the help of compiled tool system of adaptation process, using proposed integrated index. To computerize calculations and save a time, the program product "Adaptation 1.0" written in Java programming language is developed.
