Essay

The main cause of RA is still not fully understood, but in recent years made significant advances in the study of nature and pathogenesis of this disease, which contributed to the improvement of methods as conservative and surgical treatment. However, although the benefits of arthroscopic synovectomy almost no one in doubt, there is still no consensus on the indications and technique of execution. It remains debatable question, the use of arthroscopic synovectomy in RA at different stages. It is proved that in patients with knee joint synovitis in RA patients when planning indications for surgical treatment and technique should be used synovectomy developed by us based on clinical and laboratory parameters for determining the nature and scope required of the synovectomy and postoperative rehabilitation these patients. It was established that during the surgical treatment of patients with synovitis of the knee joint when performing synovectomy advisable to use the proposed approaches and sequence of operations phases, which allows to effectively remove, subtotal, all pathologically changed synovial membrane of the knee joint, and time-surgical treatment. According to the results of studies in patients with knee joint synovitis in rheumatoid arthritis, it is proved that the use we developed indications based on clinical and laboratory research methods and advanced techniques of surgery that drastically affects the activity of the disease and prevents further structural changes in the joint, and prevents the destruction of joint structures and helps to restore its function.
