The dissertation is a scientific research about using the concept of authorized economic operator in customs legislation. In the dissertation were analyzed international standards of authorized economic operator. Also were research foundations of participation authorized economic operator іn state customs practice, found their failing and the ways of elimination. Defined the meaning of the category "legal status of authorized economic operator", its place in the terminology of customs law which is acceptable for cognition special characteristics of special role of authorized economic operator.
