Essay

The object of research - combined metal-wooden arched structure; goal - theoretical and experimental study of stress-strain state of the different options of combined arched span structures and study the possibility of using these structures special adaptive units to allow harmonization of the participation of the various elements of these designs in their common work .; methods - classical (analytical) methods in structural mechanics; general methods of theoretical and empirical research - experiment, modeling and analysis; numerical methods using finite element method based on the "LIRA 9.6", "SCAD 11.3", "ANSYS Mechanical"; results - the work has been proposed a method of optimal design combined arch designs in terms of material consumption and cost. The method is essentially based on proposed and developed by the author adaptive components. Efficiency of method is proven by conducted numerical and experimental studies of models and full-scale combined arch constructions; introduced - in construction of the arched supporting structure of the pipeline.
