Levchuk J. Genre System of Lesia Ukrainka's Creative Work (Cognitive Aspect)

The paper focuses on a complex study of the system of genres in Lesia Ukrainka's creative work. The lyrical legacy of the writer, the so-called lyrico-epos, the prose texts and the drama taken in full size became as a material for researching. The genre system of Lesia Ukrainka's creative work is clarified like dissipative, the attraction of which is a genre of dramatic poem. For the first time the genre is explicated as a result of personal intentions of the author, that it is directly related to character traits, life circumstances, the writer's biography. In the thesis the theory of cognitive types of a creative personality is formulated, according to what a lyric and an epic are opposite types of a writer and they are opposed like an introvert to an extrovert. A playwright is a syncretic type, which is characterized by a penchant for a role-playing game, that is, he accumulates into himself the features of a lyric and an epic, and that gives the opportunity to design a conflict - a base of drama genres.
