3. The aim of the thesis was to conduct veterinary-sanitary examination of products of slaughter rabbits for the use of vitamin E in water-soluble form. The quality of slaughtered rabbit products received after feeding animals with water-soluble vitamin E at the dose of 1 mg per head has been analyzed. Organolaptic, physical, chemical, microbiological and toxicological indicators as well as biological value of the meat obtained from rabbits pre-fed with water-soluble vitamin E during 35 days before slaughtering have been studied. The indicators of the quality of slaughter products obtained from rabbits which were filled with water-soluble vitamin E are scientifically substantiated. For the first time in Ukraine the dose of water-soluble vitamin E for rabbits has been theoretically and experimentally grounded and indicators of the slaughter product quality have been studied. The dose of vitamin E in water-soluble form is proven by experiments with biological models of laboratory mice which had been continuously bottle-fed with this vitamin. For postmortem examination of meat obtained from rabbits pre-fed with vitamin E in water-soluble form the author has developed "Methodological recommendations on postmortem examination of products of slaughtered rabbits pre-fed with water-soluble form of vitamin E".
