Essay

The thesis is a holistic historical and religious research, which analyzed the content and the relationship of the Soviet government and the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine during 1917 - 1930's. It is shown, that platform for implementation of the Soviet model of church-state relations in Ukraine, in particular the relations between the government and the Russian Orthodox Church, was the decree "On the separation of church and state and school from church" since January,19,1919. It launched the deployment of state-political regulation of religious life in the USSR.
