Essay

Thesis deals with determination of the interaction mechanism of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and random lasing effects of dyes in multiple scattering media. There is proved that the mechanism of SRS occurrence is CARS-like (Coherent Anti-stokes Raman Scattering) process. According to CARS-like mechanism SRS is excited by two-component pumping, which consists of laser radiation and random lasing one that occurs in the sample. Basing on CARS-like mechanism the features of joint SRS and random lasing effect of dyes in one- and two-component samples were studied.
