The dissertation studies historic preconditions of origin and determinants of the begging development in society. Modern state of the scientific research of the concept of proving when investigating the engagement of a minor in begging is ascertained; foreign experience analysis is made as well as rational provisions for implementation are singled out. Suggestions concerning improvement of efficiency, effectiveness and timeliness of establishing provable facts, are given; criminalistical characteristic of the given criminal offence is formulated. A typical system of investigative (searching) procedures for the most effective evidence collection when investigating criminal offences on the engagement of a minor in begging presented; drawbacks of the modern state of their criminal procedural regulation are enumerated; their elimination by alterations and additions to the current Criminal Procedural Code is offered.
