The dissertation focuses on the integrated study of stylistic and cognitive manifestations of ludic absurd in the genre of postmodern fantasy story. The fiction politics of contemporaneity reflects diversified patterns of language forms and its functions. This has brought to life experimental (postmodernist) writing whose key principles include intertextuality, fragmentation, destruction, play.
