Fedenko H. Forming of the energy and fuel security components in Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to theoretical, methodological and applied questions of forming of the energy and fuel security components in Ukraine. International and national market trends of motor fuel are determined. Demand-supply balance of motor fuel in Ukraine are developed and the performance history of its production in Ukraine refinery sector is analyzed. The complex of axioms that defines the role of motor fuel in the modern energy consumption is presented. The essence of the concept of "fuel security of the country" is determined. On the basis of summarizing current approaches to assessing energy security, methodical approach to the assessment of the Ukraine fuel security is distinguished. The generalization of foreign experience made possible to improve the provision of methodological substantiation priority direction and choice of efficient technologies of production of motor fuel. As a priority direction of ensuring Ukraine fuel security is to create the production of synthetic liquid fuels based on hard coal. Forecast scenarios of structural changes in production of motor fuel are developed, which provide national requirements through its own production of synthetic oil.
