Essay

The work is devoted to the investigation of theoretical and legal foundations of legal regulation of social assistance to needy families. The analysis of the current legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of regulation of this type of social assistance was made and the possibility of using foreign experience of legal regulation of social assistance to needy families was proved. Categorial-conceptual apparatus such as: "low income", "social policy", "benefits", "needy families", "institution of social inspector" was determined.
