The thesis is devoted to systematic and detailed analysis of the legal nature of the labor collective as the subject of labor law in Ukraine and in European countries. The concept, role and the main features of the labor collective as the subject of labor law were defined in the work. The legal description and the historical genesis of the formation and development of the labor collective as the subject of labor law in Ukraine were examined. An independent study of the role and importance of the sources of European Union law about the activity of labor collectives was conducted.
