Thesis is devoted to the study of theoretical and legal foundations of legal regulation of workers of oil and gas sphere, its basic differentiation factors were determined. The formation and development of legal regulation of work in the oil and gas industry of Ukraine were examined, the analysis of the current legislation in this field was conducted and the possibility of using foreign experience of legal regulation of workers of the oil and gas industry was proved, the peculiarities of the legal regime of working time, rest periods, payment and labour protection of oil and gas industry workers.
