Essay

The dissertation is represents the results of investigations in anatomical histological structure of waders digestive system, and determines adaptations to waders intensive feeding at their migration stops. The particularities in morphofunctional organization of migrant waders digestive system include protective glands of waders digestive tube, and Meckel's diverticule, which was investigated in terms of its anatomic and histological structure. General lipids contents and their fatty acid composition in organs and tissues of waders were first time investigated during the process of waders fat accumulation. The waders organism sources of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids were found in Azovian-Black Sea region.
