Essay

The relationship between the structural parameters of silver nanoparticles embedded in dielectric matrix and their plasmon spectra was determined. Spectral and morphological parameters of silver nanoparticles that are formed during annealing of Li2B4O7-AgNO3 glass in the reducing environment were obtained. The nature of the extinction maximum at 515 nm inCdBr2-Ag was established. Shape and diameter-to-height ratio of silver nanoparticles that are formed during the deposition of metal on LiNbO3 were determined. The method for the calculation of local fields in fractal structures was developed.
