Object of investigation: social and economic processes at industrial enterprises.The purpose of investigation: to develop theoretical and methodological foundations of management of social objects potential at industrial enterprises. Methods and apparatus: comparative analysis; statistical analysis; content analysis; factor analysis; system and structural analysis; logical analysis; method of expert evaluations; percentile method. Theoretical and practical results: the results have methodological developments and practical suggestions that enhance the effectiveness of the social objects of industrial enterprises on the basis of reasonable management of their potential. Novelty: it is developed and scientifically substantiated theoretical and methodological principles of social objects management at industrial enterprises on the basis of a new approach that takes into account the adequacy of the level of potential for every institution. Implementation: scientific and methodological and practical results are implemented in the activities of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Sumy Oblast State Administration, JSC "Fakel", LLC "Tsentrostar", LLC "TsS-Draiv", Ukrainian youth public organization "Union of Gifted Youth", in learning process of Sumy State University.
