Object - patterns of changes in fertility indicators of sod podzolic sandy-loam and dark grey podzolic clay-loam soils, vegetable crops yield and quality when applying the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation. Purpose - to establish the effect of the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation in vegetable crops fertilizer systems as well as to substantiate the feasibility of their use in special raw materials zones of Ukrainian Western Polissya. Methods - field, laboratory, computational and comparative, statistics. Theoretical results - the dissertation provides a new solution to the problem of carrot and cabbage nutrition optimization when growing these crops in special raw materials zones thanks to the application of the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation. The patterns of agro-chemical and microbiological indicators dynamics in sod podzolic sandy-loam and dark grey podzolic clay-loam soils are determined and peculiarities of vegetable crops capacity and quality formation under the influence of the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation are investigated. The patterns of heavy metals translocation in soil-plant system under various fertilizer systems are studied. The dissertation provides the scientific substantiation of the feasibility to use new and environmentally-friendly kinds of organic fertilizers and microbiological preparations when growing vegetable crops in special raw materials zones. Practical results - the study proves that it is feasible to obtain environmentally-friendly vegetable products and preserve soils fertility when applying the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation. The system of carrot and cabbage fertilizing was improved, thus allowing for a higher crops yield, better quality indicators, reduced levels of metal toxicants (cadmium, plumbum) in products; moreover, when used, the above system enhances the nutritive regime of sod low-podzolic and dark gray podzolized soils. The economic, energy and ecological efficiency of the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation application under various vegetable crops fertilizer systems is validated. Novelty - the dissertation provides scientific substantiation of the efficiency of the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation use in carrot and cabbage fertilizer systems when growing these crops in special raw materials zones; the patterns of the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation influence on fertility elements of sod low-podzolic and dark gray podzolized soils are determined; the fertilizer system is improved by means of using the fermented organic fertilizer and microbiological preparation in order to increase vegetable crops bioproductivity. Degree of application - the main results of the study were implemented in the process of carrot cultivation in Nadia Agricultural Private Company, Ratne district, Volyn region on the area of 5.0 ha and in the process of cabbage cultivation on the agricultural lands of the Vocational Technical School No. 27, the town of Berestechko, Horokhiv district on the area of 4.0 ha and in special raw materials zones, Shevchenko Private Lease Agricultural Company in Horokhiv district, Volyn region, on the area of 3.0 ha. The dissertation materials are used as teaching aids at the Department of Ecology, Lutsk National Technical University. The field is agriculture.
