The paper deals with the investigation of current theoretical and practical problems of legal regulation of labor discipline at the present stage of development of Ukrainian society. The study outlines the historical and legal genesis and current state of domestic legislation on labor discipline. The concept and characteristics of labor discipline are formulated. The general description of the methods and means of labor discipline is defined, detailed analysis of the main ones is given. The specific proposals for improving the legal regulation of labor discipline in Ukraine are outlined.
