Korchynska O. The Development of Business in the Sphere of Rural Green Tourism

The dissertation is devoted to the study of theoretical and practical bases of operation and development of business in the sphere of rural green tourism. The existing definitions of rural green tourism have been reviewed, and thus the decision is made to define this as a type of business carried out in rural areas using the assets of households. Updated list of functions performed by rural green tourism in a market economy. The experience of foreign countries where entrepreneurship in rural green tourism effectively operates and develops has been studied. Furthermore, the paper depicts performance of agro-steads as businesses in rural green tourism has been analysed and revealed the patterns of development of entrepreneurship in sphere of rural green tourism based on socio-economic and political conditions. The investigation of business performance in the field of rural green tourism has been researched in Skolivs’ky area of Lviv region, which defined prospective center further operation of agro-steads. The draft of the Rural Green Tourism Development Program for Skolivsky district for the period of 2015-2025 has been designed. It involves the prognosis performance of agro-steads. The mechanism of interaction between participants of business activities in sphere of rural green tourism has been designed. This is based on a cluster approach. Application of these scientifically substantiated steps suggested by the author may contribute to the development of business in the sphere of rural green tourism all over Ukraine in general and some regions.
