Chereda V. Diagnostic value of oral microbiological disorders in predicting gums inflammatory diseases in young adults.

The method of screening assessment of oral mucosa colonization resistance and the method of the risk of periodontal inflammatory diseases emergence were developed and tested. Catarrhal gingivitis and caries develop in conditions of low colonization resistance and disbalance of gums sulcus biofilm residential microflora. Seasonal rhythms, emotional stress, individual-typological features of the organism influence on mouth microecological homeostasis. Based on established logistic regression model we obtained the equation to predict the chance of gingivitis development for individual. The use of Siberian Ginseng extract and vitamin A in treatment of patients with catarrhal gingivitis increases the adaptive resistance, and control of microecological changes reflects the dynamics of treatment. High prognostic significance of the proposed methods of screening assessment of colonization resistance and value of the risk of periodontal inflammatory diseases emergence as markers of organism adaptation to pathogenic factors have been proved.
