This research focuses on the theoretical and critical creative work of Mykhaylyna Kotsiubynska. The integral, systematic analysis of the critical achievements of famous literary on a background literary-critical processes XX - XXI century has been made in Ukrainian literary studies at first. In the dissertation opens the social, living conditions, aesthetic sources that contributed to the process of formation of ideology and of critical thinking, influenced outlining its originality of creative individuality. Traced the originality of perception of Mykhaylyna Kotsiubynska of creative inheritance of Taras Shevchenko and Sixties as sign figures of its scientific studios. Investigated the characteristics of individual style Mykhaylyna Kotsiubynska. It is alleged that the theoretical and literary-critical works of Mykhaylyna Kotsiubynska in Ukrainian art process ХХ- beg. XXI century occupies an important place and plays a significant role. It is a valuable source of one of the components of literary, methodological base for writing a new history and theory of Ukrainian literature of XX - XXI century.
