Essay

The thesis is devoted to investigation of effect on mechanical properties of structure and phase composition of weld base metal and heat affected zone, size and distribution of disperse particles of complex titanium silicides in these areas of pilot high-strength titanium alloys. The latter have different alloying systems and structure and were produced by method of electron-beam melting with electromagnetic stirring.
