Essay

The object of the study - concrete protective layer of reinforced concrete constructions under atmospheric climate impacts. The aim of the thesis is the development of scientific statements to ensure longevity of concrete protective layer of reinforced concrete constructions under atmospheric climate impacts. The methods of the study: experimental methods of physicochemical and mechanical testing of concrete by standard methods; the methods of the theory of heat-and-mass transfer and development of heterogeneous chemical reactions in concrete longevity research, the methods of field observation of reinforced concrete constructions. Theoretical and practical results: the method of determination of concrete neutralization kinetics considering frosty destruction, which consists of determine the regularity of the effective coefficient of carbon diffusion as a function of water-cement ratio and relative humidity, as well as its changes over the time through the number of cycles of freezing and thawing, got further development; the experimental studies to determine the regularity of concrete frost resistance on fine Dnipro sands depending on the determining factors, namely, the external environment and internal concrete parameters, got further development; the method of concrete design of primary protection of the protective layer of reinforced concrete constructions, operating under atmospheric climate impacts for ensuring of their durability for a predetermined lifetime, was proposed for the first time. Scientific novelty: the method for determining concrete neutralization kinetics considering frosty destruction was devised (got further development), the results of field observations of durability of concrete protective layer of reinforced concrete constructions under atmospheric climate impacts (obtained for the first time), on the basis of experimental studies the regularities of concrete frost resistance on fine Dnipro sands depending on the determining factors were established (got further development), the design method of the primary protection of the concrete protective layer of reinforced concrete constructions under atmospheric climate impacts was proposed (obtained for the first time). Degree of implementation: the results were used in the design and construction of the building "The Second Stage of Town-Planning Ensemble "Krutogorniy", "Residential Community "Kamen'ya" (I stage of construction) in the district of Dzerzhinskiy Street and Kolodeznaya Street in Dnipropetrovsk. Residential building №3, №4". Scope of use: research results can be used in the design organizations in the design and the parameter assignment of the protective layer of reinforced concrete constructions, which operate under atmospheric climate impacts.
