Polianskyi A. Legal regulation of labor relations professional sportsmen in Ukraine

The thesis found that the factors that contribute to the differentiation of legal regulation of labor professional athletes, are (a) special character and (b) the conditions of employment of this category of workers. Signs that define the special nature of work professional athletes have increased physical and mental stress in preparation for competitions and participation in them and a brief period of employment. The special conditions of professional athletes are no clearly defined workplace frequent crossings (both in Ukraine and abroad, both within one time or climatic zone and different), performances at competitions on weekends, holidays and days off, etc. The necessity of amending the Law of Ukraine "On Physical Culture and Sports" individual section "Labor and Social Protection of professional athletes".
