The problem of developing the principles of prosecutorial control over the process of documenting crimes committed in the sphere of financial bank activity on crediting, executed by operation units and justification of recommendations based on them, concerning the improvement of current legislation, departmental normative-legal regulations and legal defense practice is solved. The state of scientific elaboration of the problem at the present moment is defined. The contents of the concept of prosecutorial supervision over the process of documenting crimes committed in the field of financial bank activity on crediting, executed by operation units are determined and the notion of the prosecutor's control is formulated. The essence of legitimacy as the subject of prosecutorial supervision over the process of documenting this category of criminal offences is exposed. The ways of solution to the problem of the prosecutor's superintendence over the process of documenting crimes committed in the sphere of financial bank activity on crediting, exercised by operation units up to the creation of operative-investigation case are shown.
