The object of research is the process of formation of the cost of crop production in the agricultural enterprises. The aim of the study is to develop a theoretical and methodological foundations and practical recommendations on the formation and search for ways to reduce the cost of crop production in the agricultural enterprises. The scientific novelty of the research is to develop theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation and ways to reduce the cost of crop production in the agricultural enterprises in modern conditions. The study was performed using the methods: dialectical, abstract logic, analysis and synthesis, monographic, mathematical alignment, graphing, grouping, economic-mathematical modeling, economic and statistical methods, computational and constructive. Basic provisions brought to the level of specific teaching materials and practical advice. Scope of use - agricultural enterprises, governments, institutions of higher education.
