This research focuses on the influence of chemical and microwave disinfection on the dimensional accuracy of silicone and alginate impressions and related precision of dentures. It was found that selected chemical and developed microwave modes of disinfection alginate and silicone impressions own antimicrobial effect on the oral microflora. Established that effect of immersion disinfection is achieved only on the surface of impressions that made it necessary to double dipping dual-layer silicone impressions. Instead, the microwave method reduces twice the same stage of disinfection due to penetrating the thickness of impression by antimicrobial effect. Clinical and laboratory studies have shown that long-term immersion in solutions of chemical disinfectants and using powerful microwave cyclic mode leads to significant linear and volumetric changes of dental impressions, which affects the accuracy of prosthetic restoration, p <0,05. Decontamination in solutions of chemical disinfectants during 15 min xplosure and using «smooth microwave regimes» with the installation «?-UNDADENT» with an explosure from 4 to 10 minutes did not lead to changes on the dimensional stability of dental impressions, which could affect the accuracy of manufactured prosthetic restoration (p<0,05).
