The dissertation is a comprehensive study of organizational and legal principles of practice of state notaries and notary archives. Features of formation and development of institute of state notaries and its bodies (state notaries and notary public archives) are studied. The international experience of the organization and regulation of practice of notaries is analyzed. The contemporary state of organization of state notary institutions is characterized. Features of legal regulation of these institutions are studied. The legal status of state notary institutions and notary state archives, including their objectives, functions, rights, obligations, responsibilities, and their employees (state notaries) are analyzed. Mechanism of control and supervision of state notaries and archives are characterized.
