Dissertation is devoted the theoretical basis of legal regulation of labour discipline in the new economic conditions taking into account historical stages of legislation on labour discipline, modern scientific ideas, as well as international experience which have acquired special applicability in terms of reform and codification of the labour laws. To improve the efficiency and quality of legal regulation of labour discipline the need for systematization of current legislation to determine the optimal value of unity and differentiation during its use is justified.
