Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the synthesis of carbenes, carbene complexes of transition metals and to the study of their catalytic efficiency in the reactions of organic compounds reduction. It was proposed methods for the synthesis of new carbenes, carbene complexes of transition metals. It was established high efficiency in catalysis of ketones reduction and cycloaddition azides to alkines reactions by copper(I) carbene complexes and hydrodehalogenation of chloroarenes by steric demanding palladium(II) carbene complexes. It was found the antibacterial activity of transition metals carbene complexes.
