Essay

The thesis focuses on research of poetic elements in Bohdan Lepky's poems. The author's attention is drawn to B. Lepky's approach to poetic form; definition of factors that directly contributed to the formation of his literary taste; in addition, stages in B. Lepky's poetic writing have been suggested. In terms of diachrony, genre variety and functioning of figures of speech, phonics elements and versification have been under analysis. Through the comparative method employed, evolution of poetic style of the artist in the course of his career has been studied.
