The thesis is devoted to the complex problem of theoretical principles of legal regulation of relations arising when remuneration, taking into consideration the international legal labour standards. The peculiarities of the legal regulation of the institute of wages in foreign countries. The thesis realized analysis of national legislation in sphere of labour remuneration; The system, forms, methods of remuneration; characterized indexing wages as international - legal standard wages. Separately, the minimum wage is seen as a state minimum in the regulation of social and labor relations. There were analised the prospect of the introduction of industry standards of payment in Ukraine. Suggestions and recommendations for improving national labor legislation based on international - legal standards of remuneration.
