Shadilo A. Legal and organizational bases of activity of operational units in criminal proceedings of Ukraine

On the basis of generalization of operational units in criminal proceedings legislation of Ukraine and foreign countries, investigative practices, the author is analyzed historical and legal prerequisites of development, concepts and functionality, forms of operational units and ways to optimize the control and supervision of their activities. In this work is defined the most common problems associated with the execution of orders of investigator to operational units, and proposed solutions. Analyzed the features of interaction of investigative and operational units in the pre-trial proceedings. Particular attention is paid to issues related to organization of operational units of covert investigation (detective) actions. Formulated proposals for amendments and supplements to the Procedural criminal Code of Ukraine on improvement of activities of operational divisions in criminal proceedings.
