The thesis studied the theoretical aspects of "economic security" and "military security" of the national economy concept interpretation, methodological approaches for the calculation of economic security level. A study of the possible impact of military spending on the economy was conducted - namely, assessment of economic security of level changes as a part of a national economy. Improved methodical approach certain of economic security level of the country through the provision of such its components as a military-economic security, performed characterization of its constituent elements and indicators, makes it possible to take into account the scope of these relations not only with regard to its level of the previous year, but can be used for the implementation of the medium - and long-term defense and strategic planning. Taxonomic approach defined with the military-economic component integral level that was characterized, which allows you to distribute it on the constituent elements of disincentives and stimulants that can be used during the in-depth study of their impact on the economic security of Ukraine and the searching for ways to stable economic development in the future. The impact of military spending on the changing state of the economy and developed a mechanism to evaluate the influence of the military-economic component of the state as a part of national economy in magnitude risk view, the essence of which is to determine the necessary of military-economic security level, will ensure its development, taking into account the conditions of uncertainty. The analysis of the dynamics and prediction of the level of military-economic component of economic security and national economy from 2007 to 2025 under three scenarios: pessimistic, minimum, optimistic. It was determined that the increase in military spending leads to an increase in military-economic security and the rapid growth of economic security as a part of national economy, has a short-term effect on economic development, but funding for defense needs in smaller sizes promotes more lasting effect, though at a low level of economic security of the national economy.
